i like the tater tots with gravy and shredded fake cheddar they serve. i get it about once every month on my way to work when i am too drunk to be walking there. it really satisfies. but how do they get velveeta in slices and it does not turn to goo? do they not heat it up? i like to mix up a pound of velveeta, two jars of salsa, a pound of ground beef and pound of breakfast or italian sausage and cook it in the crock pot and then pour it over nachos. yes white american trash here. obviously i cook the meat first before adding to that crocker pot

That said, you can go to a Russian or Ukrainian market and get like, quality bologna, but I'm pretty sure that's not what they use at Hardees/Carl's. I've made breakfast bologna cups before, a few times, and liked it, but I'm damn fucking certain the quality and preparation was much different. I just bought some veal mortadella with pistachios and garlic the other day, which mortadella is very similar to (real) bologna (but without the nuts), but I imagine Hardees/Carl's is using like....Oscar Meyer... ugh....

If you ever go to central Texas, there's a whole lake system (Lake Buchanan, Lake LBJ, Lake Travis, Inks Lake, Lake Marble Falls) http://www.highlandlakes.net/ All natural lakes formed from the granite uprisings. THEN, if you go to East Texas, you get into a much more complex lake system, involving bayous, etc.

Not a great analogy really. Alaska doesn't vary that much in it's tundra and glacial latitude among its different areas, such as Texas varies. And, thinking Alaska is full of polar bears is plain ignorance. They live above Alaska in the arctic circle, and are more properly seen from the water and areas of Canada like Manitoba and Nunavut (far more northerly than Alaska). The state of Alaska is full of grizzly bears, however, and Sarah Palin is pretty damn typical Alaskan persona. Alaska is indeed filled with that, no matter what part of it you visit. Live and let live, outdoors-active, and self sufficient educated types.

I'd agree with most Alaskans I know to be super outdoorsy (as are Texans) but, also, most of the Alaskans I know are also drug addicts (because they can do what they like out there in the wilderness, and do) or are tin foil hat wearers. (which, you can actually find a lot of in West Texas, as well).

My point was that people have as many misconceptions about Alaska as they do Texas, because both states are huge and encompass so much more than what peoples generalizations can fathom. This also applies to California, as well. Cali really ought to be two separate states, SoCal and NorCal, because they are like night and day.
