Could someone kindly explain to me what the big deal is with this stuff? Everyone I know loves it, but the one time I tried it, it was nothing special.

I think the fact that it's European gives it a sort of 'high-class' appeal for some in the States.

>> No.5649476

personally i grew up with it and rarely eat it but i still remember it being delicious.

if i were to speak for other people i would appeal to the fact that it's fucking chocolate and hazelnuts and that is a classic and almost universally loved combination.

I feel about the same as you. I've had it, it's not bad but it's also nothing to write home about. How exactly it developed its cult following is beyond me.

A lot of people grew up on sweet breakfasts like cereal.

They can't enjoy things unless it's sweet and candy like.

It's not their fault, it's because they grew up like that it's in their genes.

The obsession with nutella is a world wide phenomenon, bro.

I remember when I first tried it. I was like "HOLY SHIT THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE" but when I actually tasted it, I was just like "oh, ok". I mean, it's good, but definitely as god-tier as people make it sound.

I had some kind that had white swirls in it when I was a kid and loved it. Haven't been able to find it since, and I don't even remember the flavor, just that it was the greatest thing ever. Regular Nutella just doesn't cut it.

He already made his own life retard, he said it's nothing special. He's asking why there is so much hype over it. Nor did he order anyone to justify their love for it. Explaining why there is hype is not a justification for it. Someone who hates nutella can answer OP's question, and therefore the claim that he's ordering people to "justify" their lifestyle is based on an invalid assumption and doesn't make sense. Get fucked you inbred piece of shit

>> No.5650291

Its really good in sweet crepes. Thats the only reason I use it.

>> No.5650341

Few Europeans actually eat it on bread like you would with peanut butter. Except kids of course. See people on the other side of the Atlantic are not all obese like they are in the States. They eat nutella as a treat from time to time. They don't have a need to sue the company because they're not stupid enough to believe that sugar and chocolate is a healthy alternative to other spreads.

I personally like nutella on crapes and waffles. But my favourite use is to have it mixed into oatmeal with some fruits. Makes for a sweet and sour kinda taste. I don't even remember when I had it on a piece of bread or toast, probably when I was 13.
