/ck/, I'm throwing a 90's themed dinner together.

My ideas thus far: "Ecto Cooler" made of any of the myriad of recipes online (with or without alcohol, haven't decided)

"Lunchables" made of high end crackers, havarti cheese, and sausage with an Andes Mint

"School Lunch" which consists of a chili-lime half corn-cob, parmesan-planko breaded chicken nuggets, a cobbler, and a white russian (instead of chocolate milk, you see?)

Desert: Gotta make that dirt, pic related

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Sounds like shit, but I'm sure your guests will love it
After all, they're 90s kids~

Just accept that there was nothing sufficiently different about 90s cuisine as compared to today, and pick a better decade, 70s or 80s.

Yeah, we already did 70s and 80s dinners. (Fondue and sushi)

Then you're done. Find a new meal concept.

Unless you want to go hardcore and do a 50s dinner. Hello, aspic!

I don't care what people say OP, I think it is a great idea. Maybe orange slices like, when we went to soccer games and the parents would give out, idk. Wish I were invited OP

sugar cereals hit their climax in the 90s
lots of other mass produced processed shit takes off, and to new levels of processing
chefs begin to look at deconstructed modern cuisine (now sometimes referred to as molecular)
people thought chilis other than jalapenos were exotic and new
fusion food
-particularly within pacific cuisine

So, it's really a "What we ate as kids" dinner. Not really decade-centric, since all that stuff, except Ecto Cooler are still being made today.
