The most flavorful is the Oaxacan pasilla chile. Its basically a chipotle on steroids. You'll never find it in the states though

>> No.5630285

i like the flavor of serranos and jalapenos and definitely the fruity flavor of habaneros but i wanted to get into some of the more sweet peppers.

wrong, they even have this here in the SE USA

You're thinking of the dark negro chile aka Mexican pasilla chile. They have nothing to do with the pasilla from Oaxaca, which has a unique smoky aroma, similar to a chipotle.

Chocolate Habanero, it's hot and it has a lot of flavor. It's a variety not dipped in chocolate btw... cheers.

Here in the NY, I can get them for about a month in harvesting time between about September to November, it really depends on the harvest time as to when they'll be available in the North East of the USA.

That might be pretty cool though, just enjoy.

Is it really going to hurt anything? Not likely. So enjoy what might happen for a season or two.

Maybe I'm wrong.

Hmmm, I guess insects could be a problem.
I different strains close together if I want to save seeds I cover the buds as soon as they appear with a soft gell pill capsule. Hasn't let me down yet, maybe try that

I suggest just enjoy. I friend of my brother's knew that I loved hot peppers for instance and sent them all to be in NYC.

That was pretty cool and I owe that dude.
Growing hot or any peppers is fun.

You can without a doubt impress the ladies with your skill at growing things that they can't eat for the hot ones, or that you can pick for yourself and make stuffed peppers with.

Just remember if hot ones, wash your hands before touching her or yourself... You'll get a bat over the head if it's her.
