I concur. I had it back in the day in toronto, maybe 1995, and the patty was juicy and grilled, with a nice meaty texture like ground beef gently pushed together.

when I had it in calgary in 2012, it was this oddly smooth surfaced patty that exactly had the texture of a sausage slice.
