Do you... sprinkle salt on ice cream?

I recently tried an ice cream flavor called salted oreo at an ice cream parlor. It was delicious.

I bought cookies n creme ice cream and decided to sprinkle salt on it... I'm fucking hooked now. Has anyone heard/tried salt sprinkled onto ice cream? I think everyone should try it.... NOW. Especially if you have ice cream on hand.
