1.5oz of your berry water stuff

Stirred together in a short glass with plenty of ice. Take small sips to allow your palate to adjust to the taste of the gin.

Spirits are an acquired taste and If you want to learn to enjoy them you'll have to get used to the flavor. Take very small sips and allow the drink to spread across your tongue so that you can appreciate the flavor while minimizing the burn from the ethanol.

tastes like death but i'm just slugging it back in giant gulps in hopes that i don't boot halfway through

it's not the burn that i care about, i love the burn of rum and vodka, but gin tastes like pine needles and turpentine. the only time i ever had a gin drink that i liked was when i made myself a gin and tonic in the lounge/open bar of the hotel i was staying at in amsterdam but by that point in my Euro-tour i was so worn out from drinking that i couldn't even finish it. took a 3 day drinking break and just smoked weed and hash instead and had some shrooms and felt like i had cured myself of cancer.
