What's your favorite Guacamole recipe?

I usually just use a few avocados, tomato, onions and salt. Lazy mans guac but it gets the job done.

>> No.5420696

If you would just add lime a chili powder, you'd have pretty decent guac.

Fuck lime.

Little bit of lemon, and a bit of sour cream is the secret.

>> No.5420714

Avocado, onion, tomato, jalapeno or other pepper, cilantro, lime.
Shit is cash.

>> No.5420740

Avocado, salt, pepper, lime and a little hit of habanero Tabasco. I should start putting a touch of garlic in it though.

Do people still do this?

Serranos are superior in every way

Nigga my parents just crudely mash an avocado with a fork and some salt

I personally like it with lime, tomato, and a little onion

If your recipe includes an avocado then you've just made my favorite guacamole.

IDK, OP, I always think simple is best when it comes to guac. I just add lime juice, salt, minced serrano and a bit of cilantro and that's it. Everyone always asks me for my recipe, and I always have to laugh, because it's barely even a recipe, lol. But it does let the flavor of the avocado shine through. I love tomatoes and onion, but not in guacamole.

Exiled Texan checking in. In our younger years we would eat a half avocado for lunch. All guacamole is is the same thing but mashed up.

>avocado
>salt
>lime juice
>cilantro

It's kind of like chili, everyone has their own recipe and everyone thinks theirs is the best. Just as with other cooking endeavors, experiment, but this (and your) base is certainly enough to get you started on your own cooking tradition

Less is more. I just mash two ripe avocados with lime juice and salt, then stir in a little chopped red onion, jalapeno and cilantro. If your avocados are ripe and you're not stingy with the lime juice you don't need to add anything else to it.

>> No.5421813

Avocados
Tomato
1 clove of very finely minced garlic
half a white onion
Small amount of Cumin
Small amount of Cayenne
Coriander
Lime
a dash of pepper
Salt depending on whether your Nachos are salted or not.
