If you've never downed a full english breakfast you haven't lived. Its brutal having it as an actual breakfast though, so most people just have it as their dinner. Also its pretty common for the beans to turn up in a separate bowl, not sure why yours didn't OP. Such is life.

There is historical reasons for Brits to have a shitty traditional food. They made so effort since then but the core is still rotten.

And don't believe them about the WW2 crap, there was food shortage everywhere. English food is crap because they refused to do like everyone else in Europe and copy the new french cuisine at Louis XIV's time. Since they hated french, they did the opposite. And the opposite of good cooking is crap.

There's way too many bbc shows about obese people and even babies. One baby went through a 2 litre of coke a day and the parents didn't know how to cook because, big surprise, every bonglander female gets knocked up at 15 and subsists off KFC from her black bf on their estate paid for by gov. Get it together uk, your top sold foods are all corn syrup beans/ waste grade sausage rolls and frozen kebab pizzas so you're no better.

Also your supermarkets are absolutely vile. I went in a tesco and the ratio of tea cakes and prepackaged food and beer to "fresh" brown as fuck gross vegetables was abysmally larger. Sainsburys and asda looks just as bad. I can't blame them, they're trapped in a cycle of cheap bland unhealthy food that's traditional and also incredibly easy and cheap to make/ get.

Even a walmart in America has more variety and pushes the healthy eating thing

See that blue state in 2009? That's Colorado. I live here.

It's kind of hard to be fat when
a) Colorado / Denver area is the #1 most used public transportation areas along with bicycle users
b) We live a fucking mile above sea level, that'll make any fatty grasp for breath, not to mention you'll be chuging water all the time, so that'll slim people down
c) We have mountains, hiking trails, plenty of plains for offroad stuff, etc - lots of outdoor activities
