Congratulations on picking the worst German beer ever. I suppose it still holds up against the big American brands like Bud Light.

Dude, chill. Different thicknesses/alcohol contents are nicer in different temperatures. For example, "lawnmower beer" is extremely light, refreshing, and low alcohol because it's great as a refreshment when you're mowing the lawn during the summer. Another example is stouts; they're thicker and generally have higher caramel notes, so they're very nice to have when the weather outside is frightful. Ever wonder why "christmas" themed beers are almost always dark?
