Goodness, that's been my experience with them, that's for sure.

My cavalier has severe separation anxiety, waiting and crying until I come home again. My other cavalier looks him, like wtf is your problem, she always comes back, so likely not a breed trait, just especially sensitive. When I'm out with him, he points as well, but makes eye contact with his owner every few moments, always staying close, and checking back with me. This I'm told is in fact a breed trait, so maybe some wires get crossed that spills over into that separation problem.

My dad is a vet and I've heard some pretty bad stories about dogs with really severe separation anxiety... breaking teeth against their cage, throwing themselves against windows, literally destroying all the furniture and anything they can get their hands on.

Some breeds are definitely more prone to it, but there are ways to prevent or mitigate the issue.

There are many good reasons to use GMOs:
>Reduced need for herbicides
>Reduced need of pesticides
>Reduced greenhouse emissions as >GMOs require less tillage or plowing, thus less use of fossil fuels
>Ability to manipulate foods to increase desirable components such as nutrients
>Increased production of food for starving third world countries.
Just because you have been brainwashed into thinking that a genetically modified crop decreases the quality of a butchered animals meat, doesn't mean it's true you fucking pleb.

>> No.5362254

>>5362242
First of all, we are talking about meat quality. I knew you would dance around your previous statement. But let's start here:

>Reduced need for herbicides
Explain how glyphosate-resistant crops has reduced the application of glyphosate.

Then explain how glyphosate-resistant and Bt-transgenic crops have increased food production in third world countries.

Also, Bohn et al. (2014) presented interesting evidence of superior nutrition in non-GMO soybean (more protein, zinc, less saturated fat and omega-6 FA). Not surprisingly, glyphosate-resistant soybean contain high amounts of residual glyphosate.

But please, go beyond your generic points and go into more detail for me.

Getting too tired to argue this shit. Let me keep this simple for you.
>glyphosate is still needed regardless of whether the crop can resist it or not.

>however this can harm any animals or people who ingest the crop if no proper sanitization procedures are put in place.
>if properly processed and THEN fed to livestock, it can offer better nutrition.
>production of GMO crops in third world countries is still a little ways off but the light at the end of the tunnel IS there because of GMO.

Okay, but how does this refute the fact that glyphosate usage (and misuse) has increased as a result of glyphosate-resistant crops? This increased usage has resulted in an increase in glyphosate-resistant weeds.

>yes, there are residual traces of glyphosate left on crops. Because they are GMO, they won't be effectively harmed from this.
That wasn't the point.

>however this can harm any animals or people who ingest the crop if no proper sanitization procedures are put in place.
How do you sanitize for systemic herbicides?

>if properly processed and THEN fed to livestock, it can offer better nutrition.
Again, how are glyphosate-resistant crops superior in nutrition?

>production of GMO crops in third world countries is still a little ways off but the light at the end of the tunnel IS there because of GMO.
Provide an actual example of this. You can't simply say "because of GMO" and think this is an argument. We are talking about current GMO cultivars, not pie-in-the-sky fictitious GMOs.
