What is your go-to takeout/delivery food when you are too tired/sick/lazy to cook? What do you specifically order in these circumstances?

For me is Mexican, since it's like 5 blocks away I can order it on the phone, skip the line, and skateboard up with my dog and have it ready when i get there.

The only problem with in-n-out is it's so good and consistent, if you eat too much you get tired of it quick

The differences are relatively minor. Gyro is Greek while shawarma and doner are Middle Eastern/Turkish, respectively (but effectively the same). One of the differences is the yogurt sauce. Gyro gets tzatziki, which is yogurt, garlic, cucumber (sometimes lemon and/or herbs). Doner/shawarma get cacik, which is the same but usually contains dill and/or sumac. If you like one, you'll almost definitely like the other. If you don't like one, you probably won't like the other.

When I have to eat at work I usually go for Asian, because work is right near Chinatown. I can get a very good Vietnamese sandwich two blocks from work, plus countless Asian joint deliver to work.

If I'm home one of the best taco trucks is nearby, and it's so popular they deliver. There's also a few good Mexican and Asian places near home, along with a pretty good Turkish joint.

I can eat pretty well for cheap whether I'm at work or at home.

On campus: $5 special at the sushi bar. A Bubble Tea (lychee jasmine) and bbq pork steamed bun.
Or a cuban coffee and a jamaican beef patty, $3, at the bookstore.

While driving, if I'm totally beat, it's usually McDonald's. Something like just a southern chicken sandwich, and a water, or else a burger if it's on sale. I usually pick up a plain hamburger for my dog if I know I'm low on dog food and too tired to go in the store or it's late.

Outside of that, I live near really good groceries and I maintain a good pantry and freezer supply at home. My go to instant food at home is usually a steam in bag brown rice, some edamame, and some kind of stir fry or dumpling, all out of my freezer. Or a BLT, microwaved bacon, on toast.
