Have they changed the label or is that a domestic/ US export version? Anyway, it's fantastic stuff, great tasting, complex without having a huge gravity like some stouts gunning for flavour.

Anyway, the more I become a beer wanker the more I go back to this stuff

If it were a hot summer's day, I'd give you a 6/10. Unfortunately I live in Vancouver and like beer with actual character, so 3/10.

I've had this on three occasions and it's safe to say it's the best beer I've ever had. Have a couple more bottles tucked away. For something more available I'd probably say Occidental Altbier.

Now, Sculpin is a whole different beast, I give a slight edge to Sculpin if anything for originality. Its just so damn juicy, fruity tasting, balanced, flowery, herbal and refreshing. Lagunitas' IPA is good, but compared to their seasonals it's nothing special. Additionally, if you're going to get a CA IPA you might as well buy Racer 5 or AleSmith. 6/10

Been destroying Bigfoot 4-packs lately. Going to keep a pack to do verticals for a couple of years too.

I got a pack of that to save for next year. About to pick up a case of the Narwhal for dirt cheap at my local liquor store too. Who doesn't want 24 bottles of that chillin in their basement for next winter?

This one is very nice but I hate it because 99% of all american tripels try to emulate it.
