alright that actually took much longer than expected

first I started off with a basic dough i found on google because I don't like using yeast and such for obvious reasons. Here's the recipe

2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup whatever cooking oil you prefer
1 teaspoon salt (I used sea salt)
various spices for taste (this is all up to you, I personally like using garlic powder for my breads)

>>5152036
honestly with this recipe I didn't really do anything special with the tofu, though in the other tofu pasta meal I was going to do I focus more on the tofu as a part of a meal rather than a topping for the pizza.

I put my chopped tofu and mushrooms in a plastic bag and put a little bit of garlic herb salad dressing and a small amount of honey mustard for flavoring since the tofu has little to no flavor. Or just omitting the cheese altogether.
This is why "vegan cuisine" is shit. My native cuisine is about 50% vegan, 20% vegetarian and 30% meat-havin' (and about half the meat dishes are for special occasions, anyway). When we have a vegetarian or vegan guest (vegetarianism is more common amongst us than anywhere in the west), we just cook what we would normally, but omitting the meat, meat products or animal products or cook something from our repertoire that just lacks it in the first place. You don't need to replace meat/dairy with shitty alternatives. Just leave them out.
I would much rather eat a piece of bread with tomato sauce only than one with tofu or soy cheese on it.

Honestly: do you like soy cheese and soy meat? As much or more than the traditional stuff? I've tried many, many sorts of vegan alternatives and not once has any managed to be remotely as good as traditional. Soyrizo is gross. Those "cheese" slices in the produce section of Western grocers tastes awful. Wannabe burger things (the ones that try to look like meat patties) are icky. So is chick'n.
I do like bean and grain burgers, though. Like... sprouted lentils and stuff made into patties? Those are good. I like also using tofu as tofu rather than as a meat sub. I'd bet tofu would make a decent substitute for paneer, though, because the two taste and look pretty similar to begin with.

>oh boo hoo, you were coming off as a prick first, and i already have stated that I know how to make bread. I didn't need any tips.
