Hey guys what are you drinking this fine evening

>> No.4986800

A yuengling black and tan and then a duquesne pilsner. Although I'm kind of apprehensive because I had my first drunk cooking incident yesterday. Oops.

Pic looks interesting though, OP, how are you liking it?

>> No.4986806

A vintage can of actual SoBe No Fear, not the off brand Shadow Distributors product that you can order nowdays.

This is my absolute favorite beverage of all time, and it is kind of bittersweet each can I drink knowing that it is one can closer to them never existing again.

I like it a great deal

Not my favorite by any means but its a solid scotch.

From all i have tried its in the top 10

That particular product is going to be non existent? Im not up to date with what looks like energy drinks. My apologies if that's not what it is.

Wild Turkey. I've never had it before. I hope it's good enough.

SoBe No Fear stopped being produced in 2010. Shadow Distributors bought the license for the name No Fear and now is selling a reformulated version in the south west market place.

I managed to purchase a pallet of the original formulation back in 2011, and every so often on special occasions like tonight I have a can.

The taste is exquisite. It is such a bold blend of sweet and tart that dances across the tongue. It is lightly carbonated without being overbearing. I wish it didn't have as much caffeine as it does, I will be up half the night, but the flavor is worth it.

I have never tried, not much of a bourbon man myself.

From what i have heard its pretty high proof for what it is.

How's it taste? Being in New Brunswick, the beer selection is rather bad.

These people can probably describe it better than me. For me it's a great cap drink or two, to end a solid night of drink. Real good late night.

Nothing, unfortunately. I need to severely cut back on the booze, my health is taking a turn for the worse.

Fuck you, alcoholism.

I had two drams of Talisker 10 which I bought friday. Quite good, but I prefer Caol Ila and Ardbeg so far.
>>4988012
I would recommend to explore the peated whiskys. Start with Highland Park or Bowmore maybe?

Yeah it's really enjoyable for me. Mostly drink bourbon, so this is a cool transition. Plus it was only 22$
>>4988675
I will check those out. I'm curious about peated whisky. Thanks!

>> No.4989187

I usually drink Laphroaig, but have been hearing about Ardberg lately. Saw a bottle of 10yr unchillfiltered (700ml) for US$45 yesterday. Is that a decent price on it? I kind of hate to blow that much on a bottle when i already have something I like, but it would cost $10 for a shot in most of the bars around here, and I kind of hate to blow that much on a piddling one ounce glass.

OP here I am thinking of what whiskey to get next, I'm not tied down into scotch, I enjoy irish whiskey as well. my 2 choices are macallan 12, or connemara both are pretty delicious but I've only tried each once so the flavor is not very well coded in my memory, any thoughts or opinions?

Couple of bottles of red wine. Gonna make some pizza with chicken sausage.

I was just at the store and almost bought 30$ worth of stuff to make some white russians. I decided against it because alcohol isnt a necessity and i dont need it fo feel good.
