What's a decent drink/snack for when you're studying to keep you awake? I hate the taste of coffee, and everything else has like no caffeine, even the most highly caffeinated teas and sodas. Just something so I don't need so much sleep around finals.

Pic is very close to being related, in so far as it has food in it.

Getting a good night's rest consistently is the single most important thing for feeling alert, being able to study, and being able to remember what you've studied.

Study more in the weeks leading up to finals, rather than crunching near the very end.

That said, I really enjoy yerba mate. It has a somewhat different effect than most caffeinated drinks. But if you dislike coffee, you'll likely dislike mate as well - it has a bitterness to it, especially if made incorrectly, which is fairly easy to do.

I don't think caffeine is so good for studying. Sure, shit gets done, but you're in a mild psychosis with megalomaniac tendencies while doing so.

Sour hibiscus tea is the perfect thing for studying, in my experience!

bananas. seriously, eat bananas. also get lots of carbs and protein, so you'll do well with bagels, and you'll do well with a lot of peanut butter or low-fat meat
