So I just got back from a...well I'm not sure, BUT I came back with three small white pumpkins, three small reg. pumpkins, one sweet pie pumpkin, a carving pumpkin, local honey, and sweet potatoes. I feel like it was a good day. Anyhow, I would like to make use of the small pumpkins, I figure that I could make a pumpkin dip/spread and use it as a festive bowl but I really want to have more of a use than that. Any ideas?

I made that last year. It was pretty good, but not great. I made it exactly the way the recipe was written, and it had a distinct lack of seasoning and flavor. I'm not saying it's a shit recipe, but it's definitely a bland recipe. You have to dress it up. The bread and the pumpkin will suck all the seasoning right up, you need to add more than is called for. Just don't add seasonings that contain salt. The cheese and the bacon will add enough salt (imo).
