Hey /ck/! I got this at the airport a while ago.

What do you think of it?

Mushrooms look unappetizing and the fries look way undercooked. I like pickles though.

Not bad for an airport other than the canned mushrooms.

There, fix'd it fer ya

Fucking canned mushrooms instead of fried. Who does this?

OP, is this supposed to be what those pretentious shits call "deconstructed"? As in, is this supposed to be a "deconstructed" burger?

>> No.4817284

mushrooms look sad.

is this from san francisco? i had the best cheeseburger of my life at san francisco airport.

>> No.4817314

The bread looks good.
Everything else is raw or looks fake.

>> No.4817336

Could be worse. Hey, it's airport food. It's better than getting Cinnabon. Canned mushrooms taste okay, even if they look like Play-Doh.

Super-mediocre fries.
Disgusting-looking mushrooms.
Patty looks a bit on the bleh side from what I can tell.
I would feel much regret getting this burger from a fast food place.

> Never seen this mustard before. Any good?

I've eaten a lot of Guldens, its the only thing available at the cafeteria at work.

If you like dijon and brown mustard but can't decide between them, you would probably like it. It's toned-down a bit from either one, not to spicey or vinigary. Only complaint I have is that a large sammich/burger will overwhelm the flavor, so you have to use a lot, and it's a bit dry so sometimes you have to spred it around manually.

>>4817550

I like Gulden's as a dip but it's kind of indistinct when it's used in stuff. If I want a spicy brown I'm going for Mister Mustard or Inglehoffer

I know you're trolling, because "deconstruction" is something very specific in cooking and this isn't that, but I actually agree in that I hate it when my burgers arrive with some of the ingredients separated out.

Isn't a burger supposed to be all the ingredients working together? Why would you leave -

Oh. I just realized that the reason they put the veggies to the side is to keep them cool. There doesn't seem to be a reason to leave the top half of the bun off, though. And why condiments in PACKETS on the sides?

I guess I'm just too used to fast food burgers that are precisely formulated, and arrive assembled. You order a Big Mac, you get a Big Mac, with everything designed by God to work together. You don't customize that shit.

not too bad. kind of an innocuous vegetarian meal. certainly better than some I have seen. The kind of thing you would serve if trying to be neutral. You offend no one, and maybe please no one, but that's good enough. It is airport or airline food. looks ok to me. you are not there for a week on a cruise. point a to b, maybe c.

well, yes. I am omnivore, and tend to carnivore, but vegitarian is fine. I could get along on it fine, I might miss meat . I like vegtables. I dislike the nasty sh , um stuff passed off as meat substitutes. I could live with out meat. I'd get used to it( and might give serious glances at the dog or cat) but don't try to feed me soy crumbles, or processeced tofurkey and tell me it is chicken or bacon. tofu is fine. and mushrooms, etc. I love vegtables. and people need them. more expensive than meat. just don't try to feed me chicken shit and call it chicken salad. and I apologize for using bad language. I know this is supposed to be a safe board. but most of the people I know that are very fixated veg or meat, are not people I care to be around.

NO. JUST NO.

I love mushrooms on burgers, particularly with grilled onions and blue or swiss cheese, but they had goddamn better be sauteed fresh mushrooms. Never, ever canned.

I didn't even know canned mushrooms existed.
They look hideous and make me feel bad for the poor things.

Rest of the burger just looks scripted, like someone made it from plastic for a food photo-shoot but fucked up the patty. This to the point that a sloppily constructed burger from a chain restaurant sounds more appetizing.

apart from looking mediocre, I don't like mushrooms on a burger. I love both separately but not together for some reason.

>> No.4822592

I'm with everyone on the mushrooms.

They could at least sear them to get some brown going, jarred or not, that would improve the situation.
