I regularly did it in college when we weren't allowed to have coffeemakers but could either go to the floor kitchen and use the stove or use a hot plate in the dorm.

However, it should never look like that alien abortion you've got in your image.

Cowboy coffee is... variable in its results. There are better methods of making coffee but you can do worse.

that "alien abortion" is actually more like Turkish Coffee, which is prepared by boiling very finely ground coffee to near gush (just like in the picture) then immediately removed from the flame. some repeat the near-gush several times. often flavored with cardamom, typically served in small cups. quite popular in the middle east, particularly after a hearty meal.

coffee is coffee, but not quite I normally drink tea. because i used to drink alot of coffee. and I am not a tea snob. but today I bought a can of epresso , and it smells nice, but my god, i was shocked at the price. I was goig to buy luzianne ( chickory) 8 bucks, or eighto'clock 9 bucks. even maxwell house was 7+ and much as I love them, Id rather drink piss water than folgers, which was 7.00 on sale. so I bought this, how bad did i do? bear in mind, it has been years since I bought coffe, I like tea, just plain liptons or twinings. or stash. my palet is less than refined. and no troll. I used to drink sds provided, , but once I quit my acid indigestion stoped, for the record,I eoill just use a cheap maker. .

Cafestol is not cholesterol. It is merely a possible agonist that might cause certain cells in the body to increase serum cholesterol levels by throwing bodychem balance out of whack.
I admittedly don't know if cafestol heightens LDL levels, HDL levels or both.
