How to make the perfect potato fries:

>start frier
>set oil to 450 F
>wait until hot enough
>to verify if the oil is hot enough, throw a handful of crushed ice into the oil, if it is hot enough the ice will melt instantly
>put fries in basket, dip basket in oil
>fries must be barely covered with the oil
>let fry for about 5 minutes, use fork to shake fries around in the oil about once every minute
>remove fries from oil as soon as they are no longer soft
>serve
