Post foods that a lot of people don't like because they almost always have it prepared the wrong way or theyve only had a cheap rendition of it.

I hate most of their super busy ice creams, but Ben & Jerry's Mint Chocolate Cookie ice cream is great.

black olives (from a can, they're going to be horrible rubber)
peas (from a can, they're yellow)
actually, really any green vegetable apart from kale is horrible when canned, I guess because they're overcooked in the canning process. (with kale, you pretty much have to cook the shit out of it, anyway, so...)
coffee (tards trying to make coffee that isn't too strong actually make it extra bitter, weak, and terrible by using too few grounds)
tomato (the store-bought kind tend to be a bit flavorless)

people who get the storebrand with watery chunks of semi sweet third rate chocolate and toothpaste flavored ice cream.

I hated it for awhile. It may be a kid / undeveloped taste thing too

the problem you are facing op is that the fucks at the ice cream plant think that mint means menthol.

even that is pretty good

not nearly as good as high quality mint ice cream, but still tasty

So what you're trying to say is that every place I've ever gotten mint chocolate chip ice cream from has been doing it wrong?

I'd hate to taste what it's like when done right.

found some cheap mint chocolate chip ice cream at WinCo, thought the same thing as you.

unfortunately no. grainy, not creamy at all.

That ruins the texture. The ice cream melts and goes down, and the chocolate chips are still frozen. Mint fudge, though

Dude, its always been one of my faves, even when its cheap I love it. I think there is alot of subjectivity in this thread, me included.

>> No.4704970

chocolate chips suck frozen.

you gotta use those thick chocolate slivers that melt really fast so they are creamy despite being frozen, and "snap" when you bite em.

the one good thing about being canadian is that our dirt cheap ice cream brand, chapmans, isn't complete shit. $2 for 2 litres of real dairy iced cream.

Fucking love all cuts of pork except the loin. Can't do pork chops. Especially since I was always served completely plain baked pork chops... fucking hell. I had to cut a tiny cube of meat off, take a swig of water, and chew the cardboard textured meat into a paste just to get it down.

Fish.
Usually people have had bad fish, or some sort of breaded abomination from the frozen aisle and assume all fish must taste that nasty. Bonus if they refuse fish because it's not battered and fried.

Oh and usually some stupid shit pertaining to breakfast foods.

Its interesting to me that everyone makes coffee so differently.
>pour over
>automatic drip
>french press
>aeropress
>moka pot
>turkish coffee

>want a cup of coffee anon?
lol ya I'll try it, but I won't give you honest feedback about how shitty it is.

so they have done it the right way? you don't add milk and season it after they are cooked

i would implicate not just canned but also grocery store vegetable grown more for disease resistance and yield than taste.
