There are two legitimate spellings. One of them is Whiskey and the other is Whisky. Here in the US whiskey is the most common spelling. When you go to Europe whisky or parts of asia whisky is more common.

It's a cheap black rum. You could do worse for the price. Get a spicy ginger beer and/or a bunch of limes and sugar (for making simple syrup, if your fancy, or just shaking real hard) to make punch/daiquiris.

The fuck is that out already? Eh. That's a fallback beer, an old regular. Though there are others. I really liked their spring seasonal this year. Their Irish Red and Brick Red are also good. Their Cherry Wheat is nice. Their Porch Rocker shandy/beer is awesome.. but sold out... but I found one place that overstocked and got a bunch more.

How is it? Maybe it's my pleb speaking but I can't say I've ever had a "sour" beer before

I got a bottle of Vikingfjord recently from a chick but I don't really care for the taste of vodka so I've been using it to practice some cocktails like pic related. Then last night I got bored with it completely so I used rum instead (Appleton Estate) and added a splash of amaretto for the heck of it. Came out really well, definitely more on the sweet side but still potent. Not something I'd drink everyday but not unpleasant. Anyone know if this thing has a proper name somewhere?

>> No.4706430

>>4705032
Sam Adams is always a month or two ahead of the actual season their seasonals are for. I work for one of their distributors and they're always the earliest out of all the breweries that do seasonal beer. You got lucky finding the Porch Rocker, everywhere near where I work has completely sold through their stock.
