It actually does work, in that your sweat contains more than just water, but other things including salts and urea. If you drink just water, you don't replace any of the salts that get sweated out. Gatorade is just sugared salt water that makes sure your blood salinity doesn't drop too low, and has calories for athletes who are working hard (But the hard reality is that most of you fatasses drink it without needing what it provides.)

also gatorade and vodka? gatorade doesnt have a strong flavor so why would you use it as a mixer? if im drinking vodka with a simple mixer ill use limeade or something that can cover up the taste. that meal sounds good, dont forget the veggies!

i drink it at work
97F in the kitchen & doing 300 covers, needless to say i sweat like crazy
i wont drink it in place of water though, i drink it in addition to water
id rather hydrate through water but drink the gatorade to get back everything else that i sweat out
if i drink just gatorade, in place of water it makes me feel worse & it feels like my teeth are rotting away every time i drink it

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted on Monday, and while I couldn't eat solid food besides shit like yogurt, I pounded blue Gatorade like fuck. It provided me with the calories I was missing. When I can eat solid food, I have to stop since Gatorade + regular food will make me fat.

But damn that blue gatorade tastes delicious.
