I don't know, you can't tell seasoning level from a photo ^__^ But looks pretty good for what that's worth.

Look at that.
See that shit?
Do you see the grease all over the plate?
Look at that and tell me you're proud of it.
>Iodized table salt
maybe you shouldn't bring out your shitty 50mm lens for these things. It just brings out the disgusting details.

>>4625639
And you.
Learn how to cook. If you think that looks good you need a reality check.

Looks like it you hadn't used hipster cast iron, the fritata would have actually released from the pan and been more delicious.

You people and your romanticism of antiquated cooking materials make me sick.

Otherwise, great fritata circa 1925.

Should i be using my himalayan pink salt i grind in my stone mortar and pestle? No i was hungry and it tasted good.

Grease was from the ham.

>> No.4625693

I tried making a fritata once, and it looked that bad and tasted awful, so I'm never making it ever again.
Was the biggest pain in the ass to clean the pan afterwards.

I think it looks really good. I don't know why there's so much hate in this thread.

>> No.4625711

It looks okay OP, but try cooking it less next time so it doesn't turn out soggy.

i think it would of turned out better if it was cooked less in the skillet and more in the oven.

It was tasty though.

Should have used Dupont Teflon™.

>> No.4625733

>>4625721
It wasn't teflon since I don't have a teflon pan that is deep enough to make a fritata.

>> No.4625773

looks great to me. Last week a tried to make something like that. in my neverendingy quest to be "heart healthy" i used store brand "egg beatters". a big mistake. a wattery mess. use the real thing, just maybe don't eat them every day. I like quiche, what ever. use real eggs. looks like good stuff.

>> No.4625777

Fuck the haters, shit looks delicious. I would stick my dick in American-pie style and go to town. When Eugene Levy would walk in, I'd look him dead in the eye, finish right there and then, and use what was left of my chub to cut two slices and share it with him

brb doing that

My grandmother and mother kept it really well seasoned.

It really is an amazing pan.

You cant get such a well made pan nowadays because everything is preseasoned and made by mass manufacturing.

A pan in my state would cost 600 bucks if i sold it.

Cast iron cookware is essentially made using the exact same processes used a century and more ago. Production volumes are different now, so some details will vary, but quality of the end product should be very similar to identical.

>A pan in my state would cost 600 bucks if i sold it.
For a cast iron skillet?
