Right so i'm going to attempt to make some burritos tonight, I'm gunna make a chili, stick some beans in and wrap it up in tortillas.

Any tips for things to add or techniques to make a fine ass burrito?

I'm British and have no experience of cooking mexican food except chili

Just do the meat and beans separately.
Look up a taco meat recipe and do the beans with some pork or bacon
Also rice is a good idea.

Chili in a burrito is going to make a huge mess. Also, chili isn't mexican food.

Get a can of beans and cook them up with some onion, bacon grease/lard and salt, maybe some cumin, and then make some spanish rice, then throw those in a tortilla with cheese. Dice up some onion and tomato and throw in some cilantro, lime juice and salt for a pico topping.

Use A cast iron to saute your onions and peppers on high heat. Do you like guacamole?

Tiny tortilla strips in the burrito is absolutely god tier, give it a crunch.

Spread sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, etc in a way that when you wrap it, you get some in every bite, and not have a clump of sour cream at the end.

Warm the tortilla before you wrap it, then once it's sealed up, toast that mother

black beans, avocado, sour cream, rice, cheese

>> No.4625631

And don't fucking put lettuce in there, it fluffs up at the end and makes the tortilla harder to wrap. And it's pussy chipotle shit
