I love raisins, give me a rum-raisin flavoured anything, anyday. I think I like almost every dried fruit, assuming it's not overdried to the point it looks like a mummified insect.

I suspect that's why I've never had a good experience with dried apricots, the ones they sell in my area are probably just shitty.

I don't get the whole anti-refined sugar thing. I mean yeah, HFC isn't good, but that's mainly because of the calorie density, but like regular white granulated sugar? It's just sucrose. Hell, HFC is even the same kind of sugar as is in most fruits.

raisins have always been a great snack as a kid, but i seemed to ween off them after time because they were quite sweet with no balance. I got back into them when I incorporated them into trail mixes, love em in that, could eat it by the handful.
