Not all of us are content with staying in our basements 24/7 , pot, I fear you're calling the kettle black

I'm sure the quality will be pretty woeful for the whole menu, you should go to a proper pub, not some shit-quality chain.

but I'd get steak & Kidney pudding.

HNNNNGGGG

What a boring menu.

>> No.4584510

Looks like a wetherspoons menu to me. Even if it's not, that is a typically cheap as shit chain pub menu.
Everything is bad. The steak is always bad, and dry.
The pasta is microwaved and chewy.
I usually stick with a burger.

I know people who have worked as chefs for this kind of chain pub/restaurant, they don't have much culinary experience and the kitchens are usually quite bad. Hell, i still eat there because it's cheap as fuck.

What's your Spoons like, /ck/?

Mine is an old post office, so it's huge. It's only loud on weekends but it's alway full off old pissheads. The food is really good, But they don't have all the drinks they list on the menu.

I think their food has gotten a lot better in recent years and its pretty decently priced. Especially since a lot of the stuff is + a Drink

It is! better than other Weatherspoons. They really vary.

Mine is less of a pub than your average spoons. Lots of seating, serves food morning and day, but at night it's more like a club; small dancefloor, people getting trollied on cocktail pitchers.

Never dared try the food, though it is cheap, the beer tastes dreadful and the people are worse.

What does the "5%" on the menu mean? It follows mayo and salad dressing.

My Spoons is in Aberystwyth, Wales. Apparently in the largest in Europe, or so I was told a couple years ago. They took over the majority of the train station (it got downgraded to a single line) and it's quite popular. According to the people who once worked there, everything they make is microwaved to shit, said if we actually saw this stuff in the truck before it's given to us, we would never ever eat there again.

That being said, the food is quite nice. Gourmet beef burgers are lovely. And I love all the guest ales they have on drought.
