Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a specific "kitchen gadget". I don't know it original name nor where to by it, so please help a /b/ro out.

Basically, it's a bun slicer like shown here
http://www.oliverquality.com/bakery-equipment/bun-slicers . It slices buns / bread rolls or tiny baguettes almost completely open. We once had such a device to slice hot-dog buns. The bun isn't completely sliced into two pieces, so you can insert the sausage without having to fear that it will fall out of the other side of the bun.

The important difference: The device I'm looking for is manually operated (see Picture)! You've got the main unit with the broadening blade at about 0,75" above the ground, that is about 80% of the width of the main device.

The second part consists of a "infeed slide" / "sled" / "carriage" / "drawer" on which you may place up to 3-4 buns you can slice open once you insert it in the main unit. Hereby, out push all the buns over the blade in the main unit. If you've done it right, all buns drop out of the end of the main unit into a box you provided to collect the open-sliced buns.

It's kind link this thing http://www.bagel-fallbeil.de/images/bilddb/bild1.gif , but you push the buns into the blade, not the blade into the buns.

Also comparable to TELLIER LT BREAD BAGUETTE SLICER FV2
http://i.ebayimg.com/t/TELLIER-LT-BREAD-BAGUETTE-SLICER-FV2-/00/s/Mjk1WDQwMA==/z/h7UAAMXQJ3xRerUa/$T2eC16dHJHIFFhJTCS+3BRerUZWU4!~~60_12.JPG , but this device has no "infeed slide", which is required for safety reasons, of course.

Some keywords that might help:
bun slicer
baguette slicer
bun guillotine

We're talking about a "professional" kitchen gadget. I might cost about 100-150$. If you could give me a name or a link to an online shop, I'd be really glad.

Thanks in advance!

That device, but with the "infeed slide".

It's not a mandoline. Your reading comprehension sucks. He wants a device for slicing bread most of the way but not completely. A mandoline is for cutting thin slices of veggies. They are two completely different things.

Anybody got an idea?

Yes. Ask at a restaurant supply shop, not 4chan.
