I know I'm probably 5 time zones behind my own ass, but I just noticed they're dropping the Angus burgers. I find it an insult they console by offering three "new" quarter pounders.

>> No.4550011

nice blog OP

>> No.4550035

I had two of those things. Both times they were surprisingly good for a McDonald's burger, but way above what I'd pay for them. They kind of reminded me of the burgers you'd get at A&W.

yea the angus wasnt bad for mcdonalds. as long as you scraped the 3 pounds of mayo off of the bun.

i just had their replacement...taste like shit.

the only edible burger left is the mcdouble.

Thanks to Obama the price of beef is skyrocketing. They need to either decrease portions of beef or raise prices, neither move will be popular

>> No.4550080

McManager here.

Anyone remember the Big Exxtra?

It had the same fate as the angus burger.

Special meat for a special burger that is over priced and isn't anything special.

Why not use the quarter pounder as the base for a bunch of new sandwiches?

Genius!

Its obama's insistence that corn should be used for fuel instead of food (started by Bush but enthusiastically continued by Obama) that is the basis of this problem. This has lead to the price of feed going way up which massively increases the cost of raising cattle

Wendy's is quality food that is actually made. McDonalds food is assembled by a machine.

not as many as there are energy substitutes

But you are complaining about the government creating a modest increase in beef prices without acknowledging their part in keeping overall food prices down.

You have to discuss both sides if you are going to complain.

Because complaining is all they can really do. They allowed a system that lets a few people pass retarded laws and burn though money like no tomorrow. But now they can't undo it, because of how the system is set up.

> What is up with Americans and complaing about everything.

I didn't mention price, just that I enjoyed the Angus burgers and it sucks they are gone. They kicked off a new generation of burgers in a menu that was, and now is, stale as fuck. It brought:

1. Red onions, not the rehydrated shit
2. Burger patty that didn't have the texture of pureed beef
3. Fucking mushrooms by god
4. Swiss cheese
5. Bun that actually had flavor and texture
6. A hamburger (mushroom) that didn't have a bunch of mayo and shitty sweet condiments (ketchup, mac sauce) to cover up the fact it had no taste.
7. A suitable place to put some bacon

Now we're back to the fake-tasting patties (mac, quarter pounder, dbl cheeseburger) that's all smooshy and drips weird beefwater when you bite into it.
