I like Diet Coke but can't stand any sugary soda. It is about taste, but also the fact that I don't want 30 grams or so of sugar with my meal.

Both of these happened in the same kebab place.
I saw a someone order an extra bowl of garlic sauce after which he started eating the stuff with a spoon.
There was a drunk British guy who kept yelling at the Egyptians behind the counter that he wanted "TWO FOKKIN MEAT! I WANT FOK'N MEAT! TWO FOK'N MEAT!".

Think of diet cola as the equivalent of a cola flavored tonic water simple mixer for rum/whiskey. It's flavorwise a lot lighter tasting than a full calorie cola while still retaining a small amount of the discernible qualities that would make it a good cheap mixer to begin with. If I'm drinking a cola on its own, I'd like one full calorie cola. If I'm drinking 5 of them mixed with alcohol, give me a diet version.

cook him another, leave that fucker on the flat top for like 15 minutes
send it out
comes right back, guy wants it fucking charred
one more time, leave that fucking turkey patty on the flat top for a good 20-25min
literally burn the outsides of it
guy wants to send it back again but says he doesnt have time cause he's in a rush
