stars of david are connected through lines on the inside, similar to the way a pentagram is connected by each line on the inside.

Kinda related, that's why i am gonna coop this thread.

Anyone here ever made Kouign Aman? I cant find a recipe and i am not even sure if this might be hard as fuck to do.
Also where i live there is no such thing as salt butter.

like what?

oh fuck, i wanna make something with anise.
i just fucking love the taste because it's kinda similar to licorice and naturally sweet.

Mint and chocolate always go well together... Cake? Cookies? Moose?

Anise would probably go good in Turkish delight.

It looks a lot like cinnamon rolls made with "puff pastry" or whatever it's called in English.

>> No.4402539

>>4402529
It does but it's very different.
Basically it's rolled up flaky pastry that contains a shitton of sugar and butter and some salt.
It's quite famous in nothern France, Bretagne if i am not mistaken.
I stayed near Rennes for a week and bought that shit, soooooooooooooooo good.

>> No.4402550

Also. Just Googled "Cinnamon Roll" just because.

Do people seriously eat them with glazing?
First time I've seen it. Seems a bit disgusting.

>> No.4402553

yes.
the glazing is the reason that cinnamon roll's arent as dry as they otherwise would be.

>> No.4402558

>>4402553
I'm guessing it's an american thing?

I've not seen one person eating it with glazing in Sweden.

> arent as dry as they otherwise would be.
Traditional home baked ones are pretty juicy for a lump of dough I've always though.

>I'm guessing it's an american thing?

i dont think so.
i live in austria and they are usually served this way.

>Traditional home baked ones are pretty juicy for a lump of dough I've always though.

yeah i dont know the actually reasoning of why they have a glazing. maybe people just like the extra bit of sugar

>> No.4402568

>>4402565
Maybe it's mostly the store baked ones?
They tend to be more dry and of a more harder dough for some reason.

Not to say it shouldn't be eaten however the person wants it. Just a bit curios since this is news to me.

>> No.4402574
