Is caffeine unhealthy at all? I've heard varying answers on it being good for you and it giving you heart disease. I'm a coffee addict, I usually have two cups at work and then go home and make some iced coffee, 2 tsp sugar and a bit of cream each.

Coffee is perfectly healthy, it's those energy drinks that give heart disease.

I'm just worried about my caffeine intake though. I've never felt heart palpatations or anything, but am I hurting myself?

Nah, I drink a ton of coffee, too, and I've never had any problems.

Yes, if you have more than 250 mg or something like that in a close enough time interval, you'll get caffeine poisoning. If you keep drinking it after that point you'll probably die.

Caffeine is dangerous because it contains MSG and that will dissolve brain cells

Your consumption is not healthy. Sugar & cream is really bad too. One cup of black coffee a day is the most a person should have, but I'd say just go without it.

There's plenty of other, better ways to get your heart rate up such as exercise.

I thought coffee was good for your heart and even prevented cancer? Which is it?

it gives me angina and palpitations and I'm a very healthy 27 year old with a resting heart rate of 57 bpm.

Then you are sensitive to caffeine. Some people are. Doesn't mean caffeine is horribad for everyone then. Fuck your anecdotal, empirical evidence.
