Bought a four dollar brisket on sale at Stater Bros. yesterday. Put it in the Crock this morning at seven with a bottle of Stater Bros. Chili Sauce and a pouch of onion soup. Got home at four, baked a potato and sautéed some spinach with bacon. What did you have for dinner /ck/?

this almost makes me want to buy a slow cooker, but I have an oven already.

But would you fell safe putting this in the oven and leaving for nine hours? I can't live without my Crock. Cost me twenty bucks at Target.

Lol! Yeah, I got this recipe off a Jewish cooking site. No, I am not a Jew, but this recipe is the bomb!

I cook almost every day and used to post here quite often before getting flamed by /b/tards. I picked up a huge corned beef brisket on sale after St. Paddies Day. Gonna do that with some cabbage in the Crock this weekend. Will post the results.

I'm so sad I didn't take a pic of my dinner. I made stuffed eggplant: stuffed with a mixture of mushrooms, leeks, red bell pepper, bacon, feta cheese, garlic, crumbed french bread, fresh basil, fresh oregano, fresh parlsey, red pepper flakes, and salt & pepper; then topped with melted cheese. I cooked the bacon and then sauteed the veggies in the drippings before making the stuffing.
Served with a side of roasted asparagus seasoned with salt, pepper, lemon, and garlic.
It was so damn good. I meant to take a pic, but just forgot once it was plated, lol.

Stater Bros. Chili Sauce < what is this sauce? Is it like ketchup?
