So i was looking at 1d4chan, and not gonna lie,

The cuisine page looked shitty, could /ck/ make a meal for a few boards?

/v/ /a/ /tg/ /sci/ /fit/ /k/ and one for /ck/

It'd be nice if we had board related foods, seems like people just can't cook.

Stew of ManlinessCreator: This idiot.

Need a fucking good meal that won't take forever and is satisfying as fuck? Look no further.

Stuff You Need:

1 can Beef or Turkey Chili (Beans or no beans - we're not prejudiced!)
1 can sliced or diced potatoes (Alternately: 1 fresh sliced or diced potato)
Half a can of corn
1 Lb Ground Beef
Hamburger Seasonings (I recommend a mix of about half a teaspoon each of pepper and salt)
Onion Powder
Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
Optional Stuff:

Onion, Chopped
1 small can baked beans
Half a can of carrots
Cooking This Shit:

Ground beef: Break up, season, and cook up in a skillet frying pan whatever the fuck you cook beef on.
Canned taters: drain and throw in with chopped onion (if you're even using one), frying 'em up with the beef.
Give the entire fucking lot a dusting of Onion Powder whilst it fries up.
At the same time, heat the Chili up and mix in the corn, beans (if you're using them), and veggies (again, if you're using them).
Mix in the beef and such from the previous step once it's reasonably well cooked, and stir that fucker up and heat it thoroughly.
Top with shredded cheddar cheese and let it sit for about 5 minutes before eating.

I mean really, everything is either in a can or preprocessed.

Lets show em how its done yeah?

has potential but needs to be better, /v/ rarely has friends over, so we would rather go with something to keep a late night gamer up all night.

(Since they love mountain dew so much might as well use it in a recipe)

I'm thinking something easy, since /v/ wouldn't have time to prep, something like, hot pockets? Or maybe just a meat pie (That's big enough to be a burger) with some monster and moutain dew.

(and maybe something to bump up that attention span so they can game longer)

party platter, something that you can feed at least eight people with.

6 PC and the DM gets an extra serving.

Something filling, since he has all week to prepare. This way home campaigns can actually tip in to have the meal made rather than pizza bomb with 2 liter mountain dews.

I'm thinking, hamburgers in pita bread, maybe burritos. Or gourmet raman noodles, that way you can have a large amount of filling food, and the PC's just gotta bring the drinks and maybe a tip if they want to eat.

If i had the time I'd do the yield on the meal itself so you know how to price the "tip" and make a profit.

/tg/ really just needs a crockpot meal, so that the host can put it on in the morning before people come over, and everyone can then eat at their leisure without having to break the flow of the game. It also won't result in greasy hands, which'll keep your paper, pencil and dice clean. Lastly, cleanup is a breeze, so you don't have to handle a big mess late at night after everyone leaves.

chili for a D&D meet up?
NO.

Stew is the way to go, nice and filling. if we go with chili what are we going to serv with it? meat and bread isn't enough to turn a basic meet up into a fantasy meeting.

Stew seems more likely, chili ... only if its like spicy and has mushrooms.

I mean we should make a base dish that can be modified to effect settings, such as
>drow
>elf
>human
> dwarf
>Monsters/ devil & demon

So a stew seems to be the easiest since that what most adventures would make when they pack up supplies to head out.

I think for /k/ something very paleo would be appropriate. Something primal. Roast suckling pig, or a large roast goose, something of that nature. Maybe a large cedar plank fish, fresh from the water. Then a large salad, ideally of wild picked ingredients which I'm not knowledgeable enough to list. The type of thing you'd be served after returning from a hunt at one of those fancy private hunting lodges you can only join if your fathers or uncles were members.

Nah. Honestly, when you eat during an RPG session you don't really care if it is climatic, you just want something that's filling, it's nice if it has lots of small portions, so you can snack on it and it should be preferably non-greasy
