Plenty of trolling occurs here, and we have some of the standard male-heterocentricity, but very little racism. If I spend enough time here, I actually forget to associate niggers with kfc and go back to respecting them as people.

/ck/ is a bit unique among the boards, I must say. The reason, I think, is twofold. Number one, cooking isn't a dysfunctional obsession, unlike the focus of many of 4chan's boards. Second, this board is slow as everliving fuck. The people who come here to troll try it once, realize they'll have to check back hours later to see the result, and go away.

This leaves us with a pleasant community.

We do seem to get a large amount of user turnover, as well as a lot of people from the other boards coming here for consultation, both of which lead to a good amount of topic repetition, but on the whole I and several others rather like it here.
