Sup /ck/.

So me and a few friends have decided to do some cooking tomorrow at my friend's place. I need some ideas from you as to what we should cook. We have a pretty lenient budget on what ingredients we'll be able to buy, though preferably we'd get by as cheap as possible.

Give me your suggestions, they'll be highly appreciated.

Oxtails, Root vegetables, a couple cans of beef broth, and some mashed potatoes. Or Rice.

Some good bread, and some cheese, and a few bottles of wine...

I doubt we'll be able to get oxtail. We're just gonna go to a local supermarket to get the ingredients which has basic meats but I doubt they have anything special.

Maybe cockmeatsandwich? The only ingredient is Big Bob

back in my day, we used to get together to do drugs, damnit!

honestly though, do you have any preferences? long cooking or slow cooking? fine dining or greasy and fried? easy or advanced?

Things change mayne.

But the cook time isn't really of importance, both go (but I guess we'd prefer greasy and fried) and we wouldn't mind a bit of a challenge in the process.

how about pizza? easy to customize since everyone can make their own, somewhat of a challenge (i personally fucking suck at making dough and sauce can be tough to get just right).

Funny that you should mention, we actually made a huge pizza a few weeks back with the same group. It was pretty nice but we want to do something else this time.

We were thinking of making burgers since self made burgers are fucking great. But I dunno, we're still up for suggestions.

burgers are great (and customizable like pizza!). i always get a kick out of making bar foods (nachos, loaded cheese fries, wings, mozz sticks, etc). maybe just make some awesome side(s). fuck that sounds good, i gotta go make food now.

Do you live in a cold climate?

Because a grill out would be an awesome idea. Just get some meat, a bunch of fixins, and (of course) some beer.

I do, yes, but I don't think cooking the burgers on a grill would be impossible to do either way. There's a tonne of snow outside but I think my friend has a terrace on which they have a grill. We'll definitely be grilling if we can.

You basically throw every kind of meat you can get your hands on into it( chorizo , bacon , cubed pork chicken and beef with onions, potatoes , tomatoes and whole jalapenos.

Its so fucking good

Then you shingle the top with corn tortillas til they are nice and soft.
Everyone grabs a tort and uses a big metal spoon to fill a taco with meat.
