Rufus Teague may or may not be good steak sauce.
But their marketing is the worst corn-ball fictional character dreamt up by a corporate team I've ever seen.
>"Rufus liked his steak and every once in a while he'd fancy it up with a little of this stuff."
>"Old Rufus liked his whiskey. One day he got all roostered-up and decided to add a little hooch to his sauce. "
and then if you click "About Rufus", you get:
>"Rufus Teague is a product of the J&J Group" LLC.
Good god, that is some awful exploitative horseshit, trying to bullshit that their company or product has any connection to a culinary history.

I dip my steak in blue cheese dressing... or A1. It's delicious.
