Most of the competitors of the last one are still on the board, usually without names that's all.

Honestly I had lots of fun in the last one (even doing that monster recipe of a cheesecake), you might get a decent turn out.

I think the main thing we agreed on in the post-mortem thread was to go for shorter (less rounds) competitions so that contestants don't run out of stamina towards the end.

ZB and I are working on the 2013 season right now. We haven't decided on a definite date but we were planning on holding it in late spring.

We'd love to do it twice a year but it cost a fair bit of money to run last year's Challenge (and I don't feel right asking /ck/ for money). That said, if there's enough interest we can think about doing something like mini competitions for the rest of the year. The prize package wouldn't be as much compared to the main event's though (maybe something simple like a blue ribbon + a cookbook).

Yeah, Season 2 of the /ck/ Challenge should be coming soon. We've got most of it planned out, the main concern we have right now is when we should do it, because we know some people have school and vacations to work around, etc.

We took all of the suggestions people had last time to heart, so look forward to a shorter, more intense season of the /ck/ Challenge sometime this spring!
