you need:
1 pack flaky pastry, (275 g)
100 g Bacon
1 Onion
750 g Potatoes, cooked on the day before
3 Eggs (the yolk)
⅛ Liter cream
1 batch of chive
2 batches of parsley
Salt and Pepper
Marjoram
Caraway

Cube the Bacon and the Onion then sauté them. Let them cool a bit afterwards. Grate the potatoes. Whisk the cream and the yolks. Now mingle the potatoes the yolk-cream the seasoning and the bacon-onion. Roll out the flaky pastry and put the mass on it and wrap it up. Brush the whole thing with another yolk and make some holes with a fork in it. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Put the "Strudel" in the oven for 10 Minutes @200°C and another 15 Minutes @175°C.

I make a dip out of yoghurt with chili-flakes in it which goes nicely with the meal.

I translated the recipe into english. If something is unclear, just ask

i finished up the falafel i had. Was out of lettuce and my yougurt/tahini sauce so I ate them with thin sliced brussel sprouts and hot sauce. eh

cooked up some chow mein noodles that I'll use tonight/later throughout the week. They're chilling right now.

right now i'm cooking some vegetable broth from odds and ends left from stuff i made for christmas.

after that i'm going to boil up some seitan either in the broth or using bullion. will probably use the seitan in the chow mein.

Made pasta amatriciana. Had to substitute pancetta for the guanciale since I live in suburban America but it was still super tasty. I'd love to go to a big city and get a ton of the ingredients I can't find around here.

That pizza looks great. I hate when people chide me for liking the cheap shake cheese. I have good cheese in my fridge but 90% of the time, I use the cheap shake cheese because I just like the way it tastes for every-day applications.

Try using savory short pastry as the base and stuffing the crust with cheese cut into sticks

(blind bake the pastry or take it off the tray halfway through to crisp up on the bottom)

You're welcome.

I want to cook Cuban food. I grew up eating it but now I don't live with my parents. What are some good recipes and meals to make?

Also it's not the best for you so what should I look out for healthwise?

pic related, om nom picadillo. I dont know how to make that

I could Google recipes but I also end up finding a bunch of pretentious versions or little twists to it
