I had a great bagel in a local cafe. Went with a friend who had bacon and maple syrup, the bagel was overflowing, it was glorious. I had chicken, chargrilled vegetables, mozzarealla and I think pesto. Fairly standard sandwich affair but it was really top notch.

Man, of course it's the Jews in this thread that have the best things to put on their bagels. All this time I've been only adding butter and salt....smoked fish sounds delicious. Hell, I normally live in Duluth, so I've got a great place that sells smoked fish caught from Lake Superior like......10-20 miles away.
