Is $7 too much for a shot of this?

>> No.4087355

yes

overrated cucumber spittle trust fund hipsters use to wax their ironic mustaches

and that's coming from someone who almost exclusively drinks gin

>> No.4087362

I think it's tasty.. but I wouldn't spend that much for a shot.

name five brands you like two must be regional

>> No.4087396

Yes. A fucking G&T with a cocktail pour of Hendricks costs 6 at the local hipster bar.

>> No.4087408

a SHOT of gin?

I wouldn't accept a free one

>> No.4087410

Yeah, but what are you gonna do? Bars overcharge a lot for drinks, that's just the way it is.

not the guy your responding to. i doubt he can do it.. i think hendricks is pretty good, but lets see..

bluecoat and rouge are both better..
i like tanqureay and new amsterdam just as much..

Not that guy, but here's my favorite gins:

Beefeater - I think it's the best example of a "base" gin. That is, an excellent gin that provides an even distribution of all the typical flavors, none dominating, and showcasing them extremely well. My personal favorite.
Gordon's - Very bittersweet, with a lot of aromatic qualities.
Bombay - I really like the way the citrus notes play with the earthiness and spice of this one. If I'm getting gin just for G&T, I'll get this. It's a bit too sweet for matinis though.
Tanqueray - Similar to above, but sweeter still.
Plymouth - I like the bitterness of this one, and if I'm making a G&T, I'll usually omit the lime slice, because I want to appreciate the bitterness a bit more unadulterated.

That said, who drinks a shot of gin?

hopeless alcoholics

>> No.4087470

i like hendricks and i don't like gin.

but $7 for a shot is too much.
and everybody stop saying hipster.

Not even we do that.
Bourbon or even vodka but no one does a shot of gin

>shots of gin
people do this?

>$7
Why pay $7 for something you wont even taste? Just get a shot of whatever is cheap. If you're drinking it slow that's a different story

Fucking thank you. I tried it one time, and it was like trying to take shot of an EdT fragrance.
