So this year i'm in charge of making christmas dinner for me and my friends. one of them recently turned vegetarian, but my love for her outweighs my desire to punch her in the fucking face.

OP, we're not idiots. You're the vegetarian and you made up the story about a friend. You tack on the "punch her in the fucking face" to appeal to our sensibilities.

Seriously, you should research these diets a little more before you risk your health. It's a fad and you want to fit in with your peers -- I get that. But you should think about your health and self-esteem.

If I haven't changed your mind, then here's an idea: search for "vegetarian food forum" and ask the question there.

this thread saddens me. i'm a vegan and a feminist and if my partner punched me in the face because of my views i would consider taking legal action against her.
