Be honest, are there any frozen dinners that you enjoy? I like Hungry Man and Banquet frozen dinners from time to time. I also like Bertolli frozen meals.

Pic related: Hungry Man Honey Bourbon Chicken Strips.

>> No.3986591

I liked Hungry Man and Banquet, too. Also Nighthawk, Nighthawk meals were a fave from when I was a tyke.

Now I don't eat them, mostly because of the price relative to the quality of the food. And Banquet.. Banquet is cheap as fuck, but it triggered a gall bladder attack several years ago that turned into a month of doctor visits, culminating in the offending organ being removed. I know that's not really Banquet's fault (gall bladder issues run in my dad's side of the family and stress was the major trigger) but I figure it's a decent reason to not eat them.

I used to like Marie Calllender's frozen dinners but they changed their recipes and shrunk the portion sizes. Now I don't eat any frozen meals. I haven't had one in 14 years.

My father loves eating that crap. He gets the frozen macaroni with cheese, lasagna and a lot of other garbage menu items.

Disgusting.

There's a brand of frozen lasagna I get from wal-mart from time to time. It's supposed to serve 2, so it's decent size, and it's microwavable too. It comes in meat (the kind I get), eggplant, and something else I think. The meat one has plenty of cheese and no nasty chunks of vegetables.

I'd be very surprised if it doesn't vary hugely depending on the state. I'm sure I saw this documentary about someone who won a local election on a pledge of hugely reducing the quality of food and toilet roll in a local prison.

Prison food here in the UK is apparently very good, but the food in custody is basically flavlourless aeroplane food. Nevertheless the vast majority of hardened criminals lap it up and often ask for extras because half the time they've not eaten a hot meal in weeks. They might protest by throwing their shit at the walls but they always eat the fucking meal.

I knew a guy who accidentally shot and killed his 5 year old daughter and (was friends neighbor) and he did get the shit kicked out of him quite a bit.

I was arrested in Arlington for felony assault. I spent two or three days in Arlington jail then 19 days in Tarrant County. I passed the police polygraph but was still charged. When the judge questioned the prosecutor about pursuing a conviction when there were no witnesses, no physical evidence AND I'd passed the poly, she offered me a year's probation with deferred adjudication in lieu of a trial where I could possibly end up with 99 years in prison. I jumped at the deferred adjudication. During my probation, I was obligated to take 2 more polygraphs. I passed them both and they pretty much ignored me after that. They knew I was innocent. My evil ex-wife is merely a scheming witch. She figured filing domestic abuse charges would occupy all of my money on a criminal defense lawyer while she could spend her cash on a civil lawyer for a divorce. It worked. She got everything. Immediately following the divorce, she married her high school sweetheart and moved to another country.

Negative. She claimed I abused our 3 year old daughter. My daughter denied it, of course.

She took her to CPS and they asked if my daughter had an "outcry." My then wife said no. The very next day she went back to CPS and said that yes, my daughter had an outcry the previous night. The red flags of her fraudulent claims popped up at every corner yet the police, cps and the prosecutor ignored them. Zero physical evidence. No witnesses. The "victim" denying abuse. Me passing the poly. WTF? I still got charged.

Don't get accused of child abuse in Texas. Whether you're innocent or guilty, you will suffer.
