Hey /ck/,
I've started cooking my meals for the week and my current recipe is essentially "shit I threw into a wok then distributed". I'm looking for more if you'd be so kind to share.

Pic related; Chicken, minced turkey, rice, tinned tomatoes and kidney beans that's defrosting for the microwave at work tommorow.

Yup. thus why I'm asking for proper recipes.

However I probably have bias but I think it tastes all right though.

Here's my made up recipe for chicken soup:
- Water
- Raw Chicken Breast
- Chopped Onion
- Chopped Celery
- Chopped Carrot
- Other veggies, canned, frozen or fresh such as peas, spinach, sweet potato, chickpeas, cannelloni beans, black beans, etc.
- Canned tomatoes or tomato sauce
- Seasoning you like such as, salt, pepper, garlic, oregano, parsley, sage, etc.

-sauteé the carrot, celery and onion till soft
- and the chicken breast, water and tomato and boil for a bit until the chicken is cooked
- add seasonings and adjust to liking
- add the other veggies and simmer uncovered, stirring occassionally and adjusting seasonings
- take out chicken, shred and put back in
- continue boiling till it's thick like a stew

leftovers keep well and it gets better as you reheat it. the way i make this is a lower in fat and carbs way, you can add rice or pasta if you like.

also you can do beef stew. that's a very similar recipe to the chicken recipe in concept, except you get a potroast and cut that into cubes. you can sautee the cubes to sear them on the outside which makes it nicer but you can just have them raw and seasoned with salt and pepper.

take the beef cubes and chunks of onion, carrot and potato and put it in one big pot, then add water and canned tomato/tomato sauce and tomato paste. if you add red wine it makes it nicer or you can add beef boullion cubes for more flavor. basically just simmer that shit real slow like for at least 4 hours and its done.

im suggesting stews because you can make a lot at one time and hte leftovers are good reheated.

No worries mate. I should admit though, I havent actually tried any of these recipes out. I've just saved them for future use.
I also have some for like cakes and snacks and stuff. would you rather have those or recipes for like substantial meals?

I've got a slow cooker so I could transfer it after the chicken is cooked through.

Well, the thing with cooking meals for a week was that when I went shopping I wouldn't buy stuff like cakes and crisps and pop. Just go in with a list of stuff, or order it on the net and collect it.
So meals themselves would be brilliant.

im living with someone who never washes with hand, uses the dishwasher for everything including the only shredder for cheese we have, pans, etc. he also has his shit stand in the kitchen for days. dont eb that guy. its faster to clean it by hand than opening the dishwasher and putting it in there

wow all the non-infographic "meals" in here look like absolute vomit. remember kids: it helps if food LOOKS edible, too.
