The best breakfast is whatever you like best for breakfast. I usually like lighter breakfasts, similar to OPs, because I hate feeling stuffed. Especially in the morning.

Growing up I had a korean friend whose mom would make us these awesome breakfasts when I slept over at her house...
I remember 2 different soups, one was spicy and red and the other had a clear broth (don't remember what was in it) that was surprisingly flavorful.

There was an egg dish that had some sort of seaweed mixture spinkled on it, I think it might have been prepared like an omelet? I remember it having shrimp, so that's what I assume.

There was a sort of egg fritter, I know it had green onions, shredded carrots, and it had a mild fish or shrimp taste. There might have been potatoes in it, or a little bit of batter in the egg mixture.

I know there were many other things that I'm forgetting too.. Anyway, her meals were the best breakfasts I've had. Most of the more traditional or standard american breakfasts are OK, but not what I prefer at all.

No class. None of you have any class.

Always start with a mimosa. Then get eggs Benedict or a poppy bagel (Montreal style) with smoked salmon dill and cream cheese.

Maybe French toast with bacon and some maple whiskey syrup.

A little side of black caviar, and a fruit salad. Finish with some tea or a latte.

I've actually liked it since I was a kid, it was the way my parents drank it. Maybe it came from wanting to seem like an adult so I subconsciously conditioned myself to it as a kid, but it's never felt that way. I also like it with milk and a little brown sugar but I'm lactose intolerant and I think soy milk tastes absolutely horrendous in coffee, so I prefer it black.
