I have a Blackberry bush, and they are starting to accumulate in my kitchen. I do not eat a lot of fruit, but I don't like wasting food either.

So far, I have had them the following ways:

In yogurt with honey

cooked down with sugar, served over ice cream

Blackberry BBQ sauce

Blackberry vinaigrette

I am tired of looking at them.

Start canning! It is a great way to preserve fruits that are in season. It requires a small initial investment. (<$50) And you can use the jars over and over. It's a great present for family

Just thought I should mention, that pic... well... at least she's halfway there. She just needs to be pregnant.
Also, I wouldn't've thought that /ck/ would give rise to a new fetish for me.
Thanks, /ck/. Thanks.

I'd pick her blackberry bush, If you infer what I'm implying.

Cool.

new

Saging doesn't magically make the thread die; saging makes your post not count as a bump.

No shit. Do you have a point? Saging an on topic thread is rude.

Summer.

Politely saging one's own post for lacking any information or comment relevant to the thread is the proper use of sage. lrn2sage

He mad and still doesn't understand sage.

cobbler, clafoutis, jam. I would say jam being the wisest choice because you will be able to use it later when you are not so sick of the berries.

In japan, yes.

Here no.

Also not the guy you're replying to.

OP, have you considered pancakes?

>I have a Blackberry bush
At first I thought this was the new Blackberry model. Then I looked at your OP pic and thought you had blackberry colored pubic hair. Then I thought they kept falling down your skirt and began to accumulate on your kitchen floor.

Then I read that you don't eat a lot of fruit which didn't make sense at all. Finally I grasped what you were talking about.

Saging an on topic thread on one of the slowest boards is not only rude, but irrelevant, especially after such an inane post.

No, I hadn't. They are extremely sour, which is why my original thoughts were BBQ and vinaigrette.

So, what goes good with sour fruit...? I really don't want a desert, I don't generally eat unhealthy.

Freezer jam with blackberries is rather easy.

I am rustled.

Listen to me you dense cunt. Tomorrow morning you will wake up, and you will make basic crepes. No not the desert crepes with sugar in them, the basic crepes, this bitch is for breakfast. Then you will get a fucking saucepan heat it up, add your berries, a bit of sugar (1tbsp or less) and a tiny bit of lemon juice and a bit of cornstarch. Then you'll simmer your saucepan until your berries release their juices. Fill your crepes with that tasty berry sauce and fold it up.

AND NGGA YOU BEST DUST THAT SHIT WITH CONFECTIONER'S SUGAR, OR I'LL FIND YOU AND SHOVE A ZUCCHINI UP YOUR ASS. I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT A SMALL PANSY ZUCCHINI, I'M TALKING ABOUT A BIG OLD MEAN ZUCCHINI.

If you want to, whipped cream inside the crepe is also good, I'll leave that to you. A small sprig of mint makes a nice garnish too, presentation is important.

WTF is the matter with you? I may have taken your suggestion if you weren't clearly MAD. I am currently cutting and deserts just don't fit into my diet, why does that rustle you?

>> No.3758637

>>3758599
Deserts aren't unhealthy. I gave you a light blackberry recipe that's a kinda sweet but not too much.

You really should dust it.

Keep telling yourself that. I probably will try that, because I have to eat a lot of eggs anyway. But I have all but cut out refined sugar so I can cut about 5 lbs of fat. Every little bit hurts, but moderated it isn't going to kill me I suppose.

When I said unhealthy, I was just being short, didn't feel like explaining my diet.

Tall glass of milk or orange juice or black coffee will make this a god-tier breakfast. Use so much blackberries that you can barely wrap your crepe. Less pastry, more fruit. Eat with fork and knife.

Blackberries are too rare here to use them in cooking. I eat them as is.
