i am the best chef in my family, however i constantly only ever eat slop when feeding myself
tonights dinner is a half cooked box of mac n cheese (impatient) and a cold hotdog snipped on top with scissors (didnt want to dirty a knife)

Yeah I just ate a fistful of potato chips today because nobody else was eating. Yesterday I made baked chicken piccata. I just don't find myself worth the effort, but I guess a psychologist would argue I'm trying to impress though around me.

apart from my family most of this year for work shit. i mostly drink my calories when i'm alone. except for the times i get real drunk and make like a huge batch of fajitas or a giant pot of pork green chile stew at 4 in the morning. i don't think i've ever cooked anything in this apartment before 1am. my neighbors must hate me.

i still live with my parents because im a loser but i cook for them often. i made them burgers today and made them a corned beef roast last week. ill often make them baked goods like cookies and pies too.
id cook for friends if i had the opportunity but i don't because i always hang out at their place and no one ever comes over.

It just feels like a waste of time and effort. If someone else is going to eat and enjoy it, it feels like it's worth doing, but if I'm only cooking for myself I could make something far simpler and be just as happy. Or just not cook at all. I'll just eat an apple and a piece of buttered bread and that'll cover my lunch for the day.
