Just had these for the first time, they're spicy as fuck and I could barely finish them (and this is coming from a guy who usually loves spicy food). They're very tasty and flavorful, tho.

Just takes practice, anon. You don't quite build a tolerance to capsaicin the same as you would for drugs and alcohol, but you do learn to enjoy the burn more and push past your limits. That's how you get the endorphin dump which is a very unique kind of buzz, closer to a runner's high than anything else.

I don't know about "spicy as fuck" and I don't usually eat spicy food, but do like spicy food
Very tasty, I love the texture of the noodles, they way they're a bit chewy and slippery with the sauce, they come out great
What I like to do is cook a chicken breast in water, then when it's almost ready, just add the noodles and spices, cook the noodles as instructed, then pour some broth in a bowl as instructed, add the spicy sauce and noodles as usual, and then tear the chicken into stripes by hand, close the broth lid to keep it hot
Then I put the chicken stripes inside the sauce and noodles, mix them up, really let the chicken soak in the sauce to become nice and spicy and tasty
by the way, you can't really fit the entire chicken on the first go unless you have a giant bowl
so I eat some chicken and the noodles, sipping the broth from the cauldron from time to time, and then there's a shitton of spice left in the bowl
that's when I put all the chicken inside, let it soak, and eat it, sipping broth again
do not dump the broth inside the sauce, the sauce will become watery and lose its spiciness
it's amazing, bros, best way to enjoy buldak
it's a real meal, too, some nice lean protein and carbs, kino

The one time I've had a seriously spicy asshole, was when I made a peri peri marinade myself, whole blended chilis and garlic, caked on to some chicken, baked and eaten just like that.
shit fire. tasted good but

Nah. That's the base flavor. If you think that's "spicy as fuck", you haven't actually been eating spicy foods. I have to add scotch bonnet powder to that stuff to bring the heat up.

There's a 2x spicy and a 4x spicy version for people who actually like spicy foods. Maybe try one of those next time.

I make it with milk and cheese. It cuts down on the spice and tastes great.
because it's so spicy, it's still a little spicy even with all the milk, unlike other ramen where it would lose all the spice.

Why does the cheese one taste like shit? It actually tastes like actual vomit. I'm not exaggerating or using it as an insult, it literally tastes like bile. Maybe I got a bad one?

when do you add the milk and cheese? how much?

>> No.20419362

>>20419357
I cook it in milk instead of water with 350ml of milk. That's just enough to fully cook it and not make it soupy. I add the cheese after the ramen bulk becomes pliable and begins cooking.

Not trying to brag about shit but posts like these make me laugh. To me I think the spice level of the black one is absolutely perfect. As for the noodle texture, they're also my favorite that I've tried from a packaged brand. Now the 2x on the other hand, I consider that to be sort of a 'joke' food that you eat at parties or events just to experience some pain and laugh with your buddies, I've had the 2x once but I doubt I'll ever buy it again unless I want to prank a friend and trick them into eating it . Anyway I'm just really surprised a lot of people can't handle the black one without adding milk and other shit.

At one point in my life, I had my mouth trained up on spice to the point that I could eat the Buldak 3X ramen and drink the broth like it was absolutely nothing. But my intestines never built up a tolerance the same way. I used to always be eating heavy spice and putting a bunch of peppers or pepper sauce in all of my food, and constantly be having stomach aches and diarrhea because of it. Eventually I decided to just quit and give up because I was tired of every shit feeling like a red got poker coming out of my anus.
