new to food eh? breast milk is generally the preferred starter food, but you can get formula if it is unavailable. after a few weeks of that you can begin trying simple porridges and pureed fruits and vegetables. good luck!

unironically this. john is perfect for getting started.

in general beginners should start with recipes that are essentially just assembling things with one or two techniques like cutting or braising, and spend a long time getting used to it. all techniques and cooking temps should be explored before moving on to intermediate cooking, which is largely time management with multiple layered dishes coming together
