New beans day.
In honnor of murican sportsball it's washed murican president coffee.

>Kenyan coffee is renowned for its cherry and apple aromas, which give it a unique and delicious taste. This original blend is 100% Arabica. With a strength of 5 out of 10, this is a medium coffee, suitable for those who prefer a drink that is both light and full-bodied. It is blond roasted, which preserves the coffee's original aromas while giving it a lively character. Ideal for espresso and filter coffee, it can be used successfully in a variety of coffee machines, including espresso machines and filter coffee makers.

>Kenyan coffee is grown in mountainous regions, where the climatic conditions and nutrient-rich soils contribute to its unique, complex flavour. The aromas of cherry and apple combine to create a delicious combination that will appeal to the most discerning coffee lover. Kenyan coffee is known for its high acidity and full-bodied flavour, giving it a lively, fresh character. Finally, Kenyan coffee is an ideal choice for coffee lovers looking for a complex, lively tasting experience that blends perfectly with the cherry and apple aromas.

I ground a bit too fine, will have to grind coarser to make the fruit notes pop more, but it's already really nice and no unpleasant bitterness.
Super thicc and nice mouthfeel, the taste is more diverse and fruity than the Dominican one.
Looks like i'm gonna enjoy this one.

What fast food chain has the best coffee beans? I know none of them are very good, but I would like to know how they all compare to each other. I'm in Ontario. When I'm out and I haven't brought homemade coffee with me I prefer to get McDonald's coffee. Redpill me on reusable pods. Is it worth getting any to use with this machine? I generally stick to black coffee, so if I can get an ok espresso or americano out of it I'll be satisfied.

I am not willing to purchase any other brewing apparatus, so please don't suggest any as alternatives to the DG machine.

A lot of people say cafec abaca is goated but it don’t notice it to be that different from t90 in draw down time, both are fast- I grind as fine as I could without getting ashy notes and my brew is always comfortable under 3min. I do notice however abaca lacks stiffness of wood pulp paper filters, and I have to fiddle around with it straight and get a good fit in the brewer. The Hario (Japan) in pp bags aren’t even that far off, maybe around 10s slower the one time I bothered to pay attention but they’re cheaper, tho I never tried shrink wrapped ones to find out how ass those are.

hi guys im vietnamese i've been making phin coffee at home but why tf its so bland? its unbelievably bland and have no after taste idk how the fuc I managed to fuck it up s obadly

I did the following step: rinse phin filter and cup with hot water -> put grounded coffee in (2 tablespoons or so) -> brew the coffee with just a bit of near-boiling water -> wait a few mins -> pour the rest of near-boiling water in.

the coffee doesn't pour down too quickly so I think the process should be acceptable. but the end result is so bad.

I bought grounded coffee from my favorite coffee shop btw

what do you mean water? like isn't everyone using the same water? hot water, near boiling temperature I mean.

maybe, just maybe the coffee shop doesn't sell the same kind of coffee they use when I purchase their cups at the shop, this coffee package I bought is already roasted and grounded so I think it's not very fresh

do you think the phin filter or whatever medium we use to make coffee can affect the taste? I'm using a dirt cheap filter

Guys I exclusively drink instant coffee. Because I don't know how to make coffee with a coffee machine.

Is the coffee made with a machine much better than instant? Please help a coffee noob out. Thank you <3

yes and dont listen to that guy
he is talking about specially made water just for brewing coffee, but there is no chance in hell a cafe that uses a phin is using specialty water.
and yes pre ground coffee is going to be pretty much stale.

Instant coffee is nice, thats, why it still exists. However if you want to try the full potential of coffee go to a speciality coffee shop and order a filter coffee.
Coffee made with a machine at home with fresh beans will always be better than instant though, unless you spend time and effort you won't get a coffee better than most coffee shops either.

>Coffee from Peru is known for its aromas of grapefruit and ginger, which give it a unique and delicious taste. It is 100% Arabica, which guarantees finesse and flavour. With a strength of 4 out of 10, this is a light coffee, suitable for those who prefer a less strong drink. It is very aromatic and is part of the Single Origin range, which brings together coffees grown in a single region, thus providing homogeneity and specificity of flavour.

>Coffee from Peru is grown in mountainous regions, where the climatic conditions and nutrient-rich soils contribute to its unique, complex flavour. The aromas of grapefruit and ginger combine to create a delicious combination that will appeal to the most demanding coffee lovers. Its freshness on the palate, fruity taste and harmonious character make it a much-loved coffee. In short, coffee from Peru is an ideal choice for coffee lovers looking for an aromatic, fresh and harmonious tasting experience with aromas of grapefruit and ginger.

Grind was a tad too fine, 1:2 in 38s. Notwithstanding the slowness of the shot, the cuppa was balanced and harmonious, lacking bitterness however brighter than the kenyan beans. It's tasty.

Peruvian hundo choco to pair with. Alto Urubamba & Norandino
>Natural environment: Amazon Piedmont - Tropical mountain forest - Cocoa trees under forest cover with diversified crops
>Savoir-faire: Fermented for 5 days in wooden crates at the cooperative - Drying for 7 days

>The rapid expansion of cloned hybrid varieties, which now account for the majority of cocoa cultivation, is jeopardizing the richness of cocoa flavors, farmers' cultivation methods and cocoa's ability to adapt to global warming. Protecting the genetic diversity of cocoa means ensuring the future of chocolate. In the regions of Tumbes, Río Marañón and Cusco, cooperatives rely on the remunerative price of fair trade to preserve their native cocoa.

Brit here, a lot of our petrol stations only have two types of fuel, petrol and diesel. Sometimes there might be a second type of petrol, high-octane/premium or whatever. I think regular petrol is E10 (10% ethanol) and the premium stuff is E5 (5% ethanol).
